INTRODUCTIONS
INTRODUCTIONS

My name is Martha. I am a nine-year-old Old English Sheepdog who lives in South Wales. This year I moved house for the first time; I no longer live my grandparents and I miss them quite a lot. I have a heart murmur and a crumbling spine so I have to take lots of tablets, which make me feel young again.

I have a Mummy who is a bit silly, an Auntie Ysabel who helps me make this site, a Cousin Sweepie who's a Pug, and, an Uncle Ray who I hope to marry one day.

I spend my days looking out of the front window watching people walk by, playing with plastic bottles, and teaching Sweepie about life. I love going down the beach and long walks when the weather's cool enough. I hate being brushed and I think I have my own unique style.

I started this blog in December 2004 but had a break from it at the end of 2006. This was because my life had changed a lot after Madge, my Pug cousin, had babies and I helped her to raise them. I didn't think I'd want to blog again but now I want to share my new grown-up life, in my new home.

Summer Walks
Saturday, June 11, 2005 @ 9:39 AM

It's been so warm this last week that Mummy and Auntie Ysabel have taken me for a walk every evening. And they're really long walks, too, which are my favourite kind.

On Thursday I met some cows. I tried to tell Mummy and Auntie Ysabel that there was something in the hedge with the cows but they didn't believe me. They were too busy talking. Then I met a tractor that nearly ran me over! Then I met another dog also going for a walk. She was nice but I was a bit frightened and tried to dance into the main road, knocking Auntie Ysabel into the road in the process, so Mummy had to tell me to behave. I thought it was funny.

I didn't go for a long walk last night, though, cos they all had a BBQ instead and sat outside all night. I want to go for a long walk today but it's a Saturday and Mummy and Auntie Ysabel never take me for a long walk on a Saturday. But they haven't gone to the rugby today so I'm hoping I might get one later. If not, Auntie Ysabel promised me a really long walk on Sunday to make up for it.

But Auntie Ysabel has her loud music on today and I don't like it. Areau and Madge went out with Grandma and Granddad but I'm stuck at home. So I'm pouting.
